Alex Bull - Found Type Final

For my found type project, I took pictures on my trip to New England at the Boston Red Sox game and around the city of Boston. The composition is organized by type and direction. The top row is all Sans Serif typefaces and the top right square is a sign for the green line, one of Boston's many underground subways. The arrow in the picture points to the middle which is MTA, the subway company. On each side of the MTA box is a serif font defined by slabs that sandwich together the middle. On the bottom, are three signs inside of Fenway Park that are all composed of bright lights. All the typefaces are a different kind of cursive font and are unique in their own ways. All in all the theme is the city of Boston but there is a strong sense of advertisement running throughout the entire piece.
